Just got word last night that Carol went in to Barnes Hospital with a diagnosis of acute leukemia. Very aggressive. In a way, she was lucky. If she had gotten tests a few weeks ago it might not have showed up,or a few weeks later, it would have been too late. So, caught it at the right time. Going to be starting chemo.
All I can say, is this week sucks.

Talked to Dave last night. Doctors say she has a 90% cure rate and they are optimistic. She will be in the hospital for a month. Will go see her whenever she feels up to it.
