Was hoping to get through this without cheating but...

...I'm on day 3 and I have found 7 of the baseball cards so - I could do with
a hint, without the answer.

Are they all in the beach house?
Am I likely to find the last two or are they ridiculously hidden?

I've had a quick scan around the internet for clues but it doesn't appear that
finding all 9 cards is that big of a problem as it hardly gets a mention, so
assume I'm missing something obvious. I'll keep going if they are findable but
put me out of my misery of they are somewhere silly:-)

Yes, they are all in the house... downstairs, upstairs, in plain sight, hidden... hehehe

I've been watching your vids, just haven't got that far yet :-) Didn't know you posted here.

Not sure if this is a bug or part of the puzzle. When I place the last of the 9 pieces in the resonator
one of the others jumps out and is placed at the side were it can no longer be picked up,

That happened to me once,too. I had to go back and restart the puzzle. Can you take all the pieces out? You might have to go to a previous save.

I'd forgotten I had been playing the game in 1024x768 mode because of the slowness when in Chandler Ave. I pushed the game back up to 1280x800 (the max on my laptop) and this time I was able to complete the puzzle. Must be a resolution related bug. It also seems, that outside of Chandler the game plays smoothly even in the higher res:-)

I've been stuck looking for that last baseball card seems like forever. Is there some way Im supposed use that card behind the bar that Tex says he wont thieve? And once I get them all ( if ever)will that give me a clue to the 3 digit code for the lab? I could really use a nudge here and at this point I would take the answere for the last card because I have probably looked for it for hours. Im in gamer mode so cant get any hints except from a kind soul here at boomers.

Hi Helen, no one has come along thus far to help you, and unfortunately I don't have the answer to your questions. Have you tried looking at video walkthroughs to see if that might help you out?

Difficult to know which card you are missing as we don't know which ones you have. The two I was missing were from one of the drawers in the lab (I assumed I had looked in all of the drawers, Doh!) and under the cushion on the sofa downstairs. I also messed around for hours trying to find them:-) IIRC the 3 number code comes from the petri dish.

All the cards are in the house except the last two. The 3-digit code....do you remember picking up a dirty petri dish?
You won't find the last 2 cards until you see Bauer and get them from him.

If you are talking about the last out of 9 baseball cards to do the baseball card puzzle in the study, the 9th card is in the cabinet with the numbers on it in the lab. To open this, you have to find a petri dish and some kind of acid. I think the petri dish and the acid are in the house, but I'm not too sure on this point. Once you have found the petri dish and the acid, combine them and use them on the microscope in the lab. This will give you the code for the cabinet.

No, I havent tried the video's but thanks for the link, if the nudge I got from mj dosent get me moving I will certainly check them out.

mj, I kind of figured it would be a hard one since I cant remember all the places I found the cards,
theres been to much time passing between plays but I do know that I got the one under the cushion and I THINK I got one from the lab but will check again. And knowing that the 3 digit code is tied in with the petri dish is helpful, now maybe I can get on track. Hopefully will be able to play some tomorrow evening.
