I failed to hit the guard on the head with the hammer. Now the radio is out of reach, and no longer appears in my inventory. I had planned to go back to inside the building with a restore and try again BUT for some reason my saves are corrupted all the way back to near the beginning of Pt 2. Is there a way to get the radio back? If not, does anyone have a saved game that will keep me from having to play most of part 2 all over again to get back to the drainpipe scene. Thanks.

I don't have my saves for this game with me. I am out of state until next week.
I remember missing also but can't recall how I proceeded with the game.
Maybe someone else can help us here.

Have you tried going back in and talking to Nico?

Yes, I tried talking to Nick, and lots of other stuff. The game completely locked up just before the guard decends the steps. I got it running again, but now I'm wondering if a software glitch is involved.
