Really stuck I should have finished chapter 1 now. I've done everything I can think of,completed the symbols puzzle,read the plant book,drank the potion talked to the king but can't talk to the queen. I looked at the video of the game and done everything. So far I've played two hours. Thank you. Don't know if I can post this or not.

Did you use the carpenter book on the weeping willow? also, you need to read the fishing book again and do some more fishing for quite a while to get something else. Hopefully that will help.

I used the book but I still can't talk to the Queen.
The fishing book isn't in the library anymore.
She doesn't want to fish anymore. She says-I think I've fished enough today.I've got other things to do.

She has to wear the hat to get to the new world and ride the hippograf. The only thing I can think of that I might have done different than you did, is that I didn't tell the queen that I was pregnant. I used the other response. Have you ever talked to the queen? You said that you looked at all the symbols by the queen and finished that puzzle? you have to talk to the queen to get the moonwater, so, I don't know how you could have finished the symbol puzzle without talking to the queen. ?

I've talked to the queen several times before to get all the symbols. Yes I finished the puzzle so I must have gotten all the of them. I talked to the queen before the puzzle. I think I've done everything I had to do. I just looked at the rainbow but that didn't make any difference. I looked at the video and it took 2 hrs to finish chapter 1. I've played it for about 2 hrs to. I should have finished the first chapter.

Got the pot of gold what a difference it made. I gave the sunflower seed to cheep cheep the ones that the king had did something to them. Now i'm looking at a pink pig. That helped when I dug with the spade at the end of the rainbow. Thanks so much mbday630 I hope I can move along now.

I'm at the part with Wilbur, and I'm stuck. So far I've swept up the hall by using the automation spell on the broom from the display case, but I can't get it to stop sweeping. I also got the fireplace network travel powder after I distracted the headmaster with a kobold. In my inventory I have a bellows filled with stinky gas from the classroom plant, a nibbled notepad, a magic wand, loose pages from a book, gold coins from the fishtank, a fishbone and thread that have combined into a sewing needle, a yellowed design drawing, a magic slate, fireplace powder, an automation spell, an open spell, a fairy spell, and a keyring. What do I do now? I still have to get rid of the kobolds, get rid of the cobwebs and stop the sweeping broom. I also have to get to the library, but I don't know how to start a fire. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What spell do I need to open the display case? If I don't have the right spell how do I get it.

I am stuck though. I can't get the last page of the book.... I assume it is in the library but I can't open the wall in the library. I can't get rid of the cobwebs either. I finally got rid of that last flying kobold though. that was tricky. So, how do I stop the broom, get rid of the cobweb and get the last page of my book and open up the wall? help please.

that was a tricky part. you have to put one of the coins in the door to the left of the troll. then when he goes to look at it, you see his keys and you can get them. I think you have to use a spell on them (maybe not, maybe it is just a hand icon, I can't remember). Then use the keys to open the display case. Let me know if you can help me get unstuck! I have been getting nowhere for a long time now.

I got the broom now I have to figure out what to do with it.

I used the automation spell on the broom but it did nothing.I used the other spells just to make sure. None of them worked.

the automation spell should work on the broom. There are quite a few bugs in the game, so, keep trying.

I only saw page 1 of this post and didn't realize there were other pages. I am wracking my brain trying to remember what I did about the broom....I used the automation spell on it to sweep the floor and now I'm trying to remember how I disabled it! Give me some time...that was a tuffie!

Did you first use the broom on the dirt to try and clean the floor by yourself? I think you have to do that first before using the spell. Please help me gameho to get these cobwebs!

I can't get it to stop either. I can't get those cobwebs either. It is a very hard game, but, so far it has been loads of fun. If you get any farther in the game, please help me!
