I have tried numerous combinations with the water levels. I thought the goal was to get the second column from the right to show no water. When I go back to the fountain the water level never changes. Am I on the right track??

Yes, you just have to keep turning this way and that till the 2nd from right is empty. Samuel says "ready" so you know its right.

Are you right clicking on the wheels?

Only thing in morgue are the keys which I won't take

Samuel won't take the key because the doctor will miss it, but there may be another way. Did you happen to take something from the morgue that could help you duplicate the key?

I rechecked the Morgue again.
I don't see anything that I can take-I won't walk on the other side because "dr can see me" I see nothing or show nothing I want to look into or pick up.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />
I had already been outside to the trash, and have that in inventory-but say there is nothing else there-of course I can't get in the garbage because I don't have the key...
What have I missed? I saw another strand here on chp. 2 and realize I must have an item to copy an item...but I don't have that.
I have been to town and home and nothing else can be said...I am ready to whimper; crying not option yet, but egads I am getting frustrated.

You have to talk to mark at the pub and get him to agree to help you distract the dr. at the morgue. Then you can get the object that will allow you (actually Mark) to make an imprint of the key for the garbage bin. Make sure you have also checked the little dustbin beside the larger garbage bin. Hope this helps

Ingie, good luck hope it works out. Yes, the torn up letter is what i meant. It took me too long to find that myself. My avatar is the flag of the Isle of Man. Haven't played Silent Hill but maybe I will now (especially since I have no more Black Mirror to play )

I don't know what Isle of Man is or where?
Silent Hill is a strange game, I guess would be classified as FPS; not sure-story line for me was very confusing. But I had fun with a shotgun!!
