I was just posting it myself. It was the highlight of the show.

There seems to be a lot of action-y elements. I hope they are part of cutscenes or at least QTEs.

It looks to have platformer elements. I'm not good at that myself.

Well most of the King's Quest games had "difficult" bits

Very interesting. It looks to be more along the lines of Mask of Eternity rather than the other King's Quest adventure games.

KQ8: Mask of Eternity was an action/adventure -- not a terribly good one IMO, and certainly not in the spirit of the previous KQ games (it was too "gritty" and lacked the "fairy tale/fantasy" appeal of the earlier games).

This game looks like a platformer, which would make it similar to other games the developer (The Odd Gentlemen) has made. At least it retains the "fairy tale" look of the original games, which KQ8 did not.

I think the only actual adventure games we'll get for the KQ series will be those made by fans of the original series (like ***AGD*** and ***Infamous Adventures***, and not commercial releases.

I keep reading things like "this is how we would have made the game if technology had allowed it." But if that's true (and I'm not convinced that it is), technological limitations forced the developers to produce a better product despite themselves.

I did like Mask of Eternity, but my mindset in playing was to forget that it was supposed to have some kind of connection with King's Quest. Once I did that, I found it quite enjoyable.

I'm quite poor at platformers, so if that is what this new game will be, I won't be playing it.

Thanks; that was fun to watch. And at two minutes into the video, it shows the sign that I pass and the road that I drive whenever I go to the grocery store. Ken and Roberta moved to the Oakhurst area from the outskirts of Los Angeles, but Oakhurst is much further north - about 16 miles from the gates of Yosemite National Park. Oakhurst was the home of Sierra.

Wow interesting reboot but read on another site that your suppose to be able to choose which Character from Graham's family member to move.

Does this mean that you choose Graham it's King's Quest 1 reboot Alexander it's King's Quest 3 reboot or Rosella King's Quest 4 reboot ?

Still be interesting how the beanstalk or guessing the gnomes name will work out in this one. Oh will we still have the point system.

WOW! That trailer looked AWESOME. Being a Kings Quest "junkie", I can't wait for the full version to be released (but I know that I will HAVE to) LOL

The trailer is very pretty, though I'm not sure what the gameplay is going to be like. I think I will wait for more information on this one. The idea of being able to choose to play as Rosella intrigues me, though, if that's actually an option.
