Just a helpful tip. Amazon.de marketplace sellers will not ship to the US (Amazon.de does not allow it). However, Amazon.de itself WILL ship to the US in most cases. So if you're having trouble ordering Black Sails from amazon.de with shipping to the US, it's because you're choosing a marketplace seller rather than amazon.de itself.

No problem. BTW, the shipping cost for one game from amazon.de is sort of high, but if you buy a few games, the per-unit shipping cost goes down. I try to wait until there are around 3 that I want before placing the order.

Yeah !! My Black Sails arrived from Germany today and is now installed, fully patched and running like a gem.

ShinjiGR's post is for the language patch of the German game. So that the game can be played in English.

The other posts states that you can order the game through amazon.de.

I've just read through this thread again and Jenny100 says you won't be able to download the game but you should be able to buy the boxed version if you are willing to pay high shipping costs !!!!

I just used one of the links Jenny100 provided (earlier in this thread) and translated each step of the order procedure using the Google translator.
It was rather time consuming and I certainly wasn't confident I'd done everything correctly but I must have because I got the usual "Amazon Confirmation of Order" and the game was eventually delivered without any hitches

I live in the UK so being within Europe was able to order the boxed version.
I'm not sure if you can get the boxed version delivered to the USA - you'll need to carefully read all through this thread - but I would think you should be able to get the download version

My best advice is to visit the site and experiment (using the translator). That's what I did

Thanks Mad will give it a try again. One of the German sites I used the translater and it said it's allready in English which it wasen't.I don't care if I get a boxed verson.

Mad I sent you a e-mail. I got a e-mail from Amazon.de It's all in German and I can't translate it for some reason. I don't know if I bought the game or not just have to wait and see. The price was USD 40.71. Maybe I have to order it through the e-mail I don't know. thanks

Richard- That's about what I paid for it from Amazon.de. I had to pay the global express shipping fees, but I got the game delivered here in the US in 4 days, which is great. Usually if I order anything from Amazon.de it'll take a couple weeks to come to the US.
