Merrick, I always wait to take this on after I have leveled up to 20 or better. Did you cross over into the Orobas Fjords? If you take this side trip you'll level up really quickly and be able to take out Amdusias easily. Tell him "Maxos" from me!

I have a big problem playing this game, Im stuck at Maxos temple trying to kill amdusias and Im not having luck. I have successfully stripped him of his dragon persona but he still causes instant death. Does anyone know of any cheats or item hacks or trainers ( I have tried the plus 8 trainer but that isn't strong enough) that will help me. Im at level 13 You could try this method . For the really hard parts I used the trainer at Cheat Happens but they require a membership fee. I bought a lifetime membership years ago when it was fairly cheap but costs a lot now.
You laugh because I'm different I laugh because you're all the same
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Good idea, Oldman. You also get God Mode when you buy Divinity 2 Director's Cut. I found this absolutely necessary, because there were 2 places in the game where I ran into glitches, i.e. fights that I could never finish, although I was much stronger than my opponents.
