I can't play it without getting really ill feeling. Some of those type of games I can play and some I can't. This is a big NO and it irritates me!

No wonder! That would be awful... have you ever tried taking a motion sickness med such as Dramamine first?

No. I've often wondered if it would work but I'm really not into taking things.

I'm not either. Well, except for my blood pressure meds and my blood thinner! I'd be dead without them.

Finally starting Voodoo Detective. Does the game save on exit? I don't see a "save" option.

Ob, Voodoo Detective only allows one save per playthrough, and is frequently autosaving. You cannot create manual saves. Initially I thought I might be bothered by this but it all worked just fine for me and I did not miss manual saves.

How can you tell when it's autosaving? I haven't noticed anything.

I don't think I ever noticed that either, but it never seemed to matter.

I just finished Voodoo Detective. It was alright but I didn't really care for the dying and the fighting parts. Not sure yet what's next. Possibly Carol Reed when it comes out or possibly I will feel like starting something before I am able to get that.

Last month a few people mentioned the game Face Noir in a thread started by Laurette so I decided to try to play it. I'm a little over an hour into it. So far, so good but I don't like the way some of the things work, such as turning a radio dial by moving my mouse around. It gets frustrating. Hopefully, it will get easier to manage as I go along.

I have finished Face Noir. It was a good game except for that lousy mouse movement required for the puzzling (and that it was never completed).

Next up, Carol Reed - Murder Malady!

I'm glad that you liked Face Noir, oldbroad, especially since you probably refer to the thread where I brought it up! I don't remember any particular problems with mouse movement, except for a scene where you had to assemble a doll. I had to ask my wife for help for that scene.

I have a feeling that your next game will be a hit too. lol

I am certain my next game will be a hit too, Mikael! lol

Regarding the mouse movement puzzling, turning radio dials, turning a safe dial, and lock picking. Can't remember what else. I did most of the lock picking but skipped the last two, though I did attempt them. I do not have the space to move my mouse all around to the left and right and up and down. It even caused me to lose some little sticky piece on the bottom of my mouse. For the safe, I was able only to get the first two numbers and then I would run into trouble so I looked at the solution in a walkthrough so I could focus on the correct areas and try to stop the mouse where it needed to be stopped. The doll puzzle was a bit frustrating but not nearly as bad for me as those other things.

And, thanks Draclvr! I'm sure I will!
