cannot find the slot for the slide in the projector. Is it inside the projector where I replaced the light bulb or somewhere else. Please help. I am stumped.

I think PAN is referring to Nancy Drew games.

FIN is Nancy Drew 5: The Final Scene
TRT is Nancy Drew 4: Treasure in a Royal Tower

Okay Pan, glad to know what game you are playing. I think you can find the slot in front of the large lens. You will want to be as close to the front of it as possible.
Good luck

Sue

Thank you so much. I did finally find the slot. I was looking to get to the very front but found it sorta on the side by the switch. Now I have another problem which I may need to post separate form this. I am trying to get out of the locked projection room. I have found the outlet, turned the on switch but cannot move in any direction.

There is a metal panel on the wall near the ladder. You should see a bunch of keys in there. If I remember correctly, the puzzle is random as to which key will work. I think there was plenty of time to find the correct one though. If the music gets on your nerves and makes you feel rushed, turn it off before starting this puzzle.
Good luck

Thank you but my immediate problem is that I cannot get passed clicking on the light switch which is under the outlet to the right of the door. I can flip the light switch up but cannot move after that. So I haven't seen the ladder. I am supposed to go to the right but cannot. Please help if you can. Thanks

Pan

I think I know what your problem is...
after flicking the switch.. did you close the switch-box .... if I remember right you have to close the switch-box to access the ladder on your right.
Hope this helps.

I have found the key and gotten into the passageway where I am supposed to see Maya, but every time I get into the room, no matter which direction I go, I get hit by the wrecking ball. Pleas help. I have tried it over and over and am so close to the end but cannot go any further.

PAN,

Since this is a timed puzzle, it might be best to replay from after you back away from viewing the slide you found inside the projector.
This is the time the 3 minute timer start and since by now you memorized the steps, you might be able to do it faster. luck

Hi PAN,

If you look towards the upper left of the main Hints forum screen (not the current thread screen), you'll see a button that says New Topic. Hit that and you're on your way. wave
