D*rn you Ragnar! How am I supposed to enjoy another game now?

I wouldn't consider myself an adventure gamer, my head hurts just thinking about Myst, and I've mostly played (single/multiplayer) RPGs. But I found Dreamfall in a sale and gave it a shot -- amazing! Never before had I played a game where I liked and identified with my hero(ine) that much, the dialogues were great and the acting too. Naturally I bought the prequel and it was just as good, even better in some parts.
So I thought to myself, this Adventure genre must be filled with games like this and bought dozens of new and old point & click games. But none has appealed to me like Ragnar Törnquist's games. So far, Culpa Innata has been closest - a mature story, but the dialogue didn't live up to it. I've been recommended to play Grim Fandango and Syberia without falling for either (I may not have come far enough in Grim Fandango though - I can hardly solve any puzzle without hints).
I wanna play a game with well written character/story, not too puzzle heavy, professional voice acting... hmm...
Basically I want TLJ3, but it looks like it'll be years until Funcom continues the series, what should I play in the mean time?
(I realize there must have been threads about the subject before, but I just can't find one. Sorry!)
