I'm in Chapter 11 with Amulet going back and forth.
When I'm in the past I'm suppose to find a jug with tar near the wagon wheel and it's not there. It should be where my cursor is in this screen shot.

What have I done wrong and will I be able to find it elsewhere

You already did it. You are on task 5 (Ignite the torch) and the tar is #4.

RAL, I haven't played this, but I noticed on Margie's Screen shot of where the jar is, she is on task 3/8 and it says "Soak the rag" and on your Screenshot it says task 4/8.

Margie says the jar will go into inventory and combine with the rag so could you have done it without realizing just by clicking around?

edit: Hi Ana, you are quick puppy
