Hi Gemma,

I believe you have to examine (click on) the constellation machine before you are able to access the journal.

Also make sure to read the constellation book, and examine the writing on the right-wall.

luck

Click on the link in MaG's post above yours, Gemma. The patch might help fix the problems you're having.

Thanks no it didn't work but something else did I checked with your walkthrough and manually put in the three constellations but cannot get the fourth and my four tracings are different from the walkthrough I don't have cancer, cassiopeia or scorpius the only one that I have is andromeda and it is one of the three that I have put up in that sky so goodness knows where the fourth is but thanks I will keep trying gja

went back to a previous game and went very slowly over everything and back to constellations can only get andromeda in the sky. Any help appreciated thanks got the patch and got mag save but did not work will keep plugging away.

am back to where I have three constellations in the sky but cannot find that fourth. Will i use the save that you emailed me I still have it in my email and am confused re edit button where do I put submit Ok MaG found the fourth constellation as you said it was in the book am out of there and onto the next part thanks as usual you are good it's just me that gets things screwed up.

Gemma,

Please help us also by not stacking your post - please use the edit button as we have asked you to do in the past. Thank you very much.

As for the saved game I sent you - that is already with the door opened - no need to do the puzzle - it is done.

As for the constellations - you might be finding them in the book. The book opens to a page at the middle. There are constellations before and after the opening page.

Could I please get a saved game that starts after getting the keys? I got SO frustrated with that part. I just can't seem to grab the keys and get back upstairs quick enough. I keep getting busted by the mother. I've also had the same problem as Gemma. I try to get the keys, fail, and I end up back upstairs where the game freezes. You can't move anywhere or do anything, so I end up rebooting my computer and starting over. I had completely given up on this game, but if I can get a saved game, I may just give it another try. Thanks!
Lisa
