I need help with the part where the guy is suppose to go into the room when the other guy is far away and click on the note on the wall. I can't click on it. The pointer is not visible and he kicks me out just as soon as I go in. And yes I wait till he is farther away from the door. I've even put my finger on the screen where the note is to be ready to click but my mouse will not let me click on it. What can I do?

yes I did investigate the diary. I have the torn pages in inventory. But my problem is I can't get the note because I can't click on it. My mouse pointer isn't visible to go to the note and click on it. I have even tried to get him to move so that I can get control of my mouse but I can't. I really need help because I can't do anything else till I do this.
