yes, I got that thing. The first time that I got him, I messed up and didn't shut the window and he came back in! That was a hard puzzle.

Now about the broom. There has to be a way to stop it. What should be do about the Kobolt. I've tried everything to stop the broom but nothing worked.

me too. I think it has something to do with the cobweb; but, as I said, I have tried everything in my inventory on it and nothing is working. I have tried to talk to the headmaster and nothing comes from him. The troll doesn't talk anymore either. I can't do anything in the library, as the books don't trust me and I need one more page to finish the book to sew it together. argh.

I looked at all the files in the filling cabinet on the head master room. That didn't work. Will keep trying. What book do you meed

I tried to sew them together but I can't. I just got some fireplace travel powder. I still can't light a fire in the fireplace. I guess I have to distract the headmaster. I was looking at a video and you have to use the bellows on the apparatus to make a fire and use a paper to light it, doesn't work for me. You won't be able to stop the broom until after you light the fireplace. When you light the fireplace you can go into a different room. I didn't that's what the video looked like.

ah, I had a hard time lighting a fire too. If I remember correctly, you have to use the correct response to the headmaster when he asks if you are using school property. You have to say something about that they are old boards anyway... and can't remember the rest, but, it did have to do with using the correct response to the headmaster. I hope that helps.

I didn't know that thank you.I did what you said but I still couldn't start the fire with the bellows. I didn't get the right response when I looked at the apparatus.

I don't want to give too much away, but forget about the cobwebs; they will sort themselves out. As far as stopping the broom, you can't do it until much later in the chapter and think "Sorcerer's Apprentice". I hope this helped.

I don't think you need the bellows to start the fire. do you have the start fire in your inventory?

gameho, it's good to know that I can forget the cobwebs. I just can't tie up the pages together in the library. I have the troll stuff and the sewing stuff, but, it doesn't do anything. the books in the library won't trust him until he fixes the book and I just can't get any further.

You have to use the gas filled bellows on the apparatus to charge it. Then you use your spell to start a fire and use a paper to on the fire.. You can use the burning paper on the fireplace. I was watching a video that's how I new. The problem is I can't do it. I did the same thing what the video did but couldn't do it.

ah, I remember now. I was trying to run to the fireplace to start the fire and then I looked in my inventory and there is the burning paper in there.... you have to keep relighting the paper until you get to the fireplace! sorry I didn't remember before. That is tricky, as you still have to be fast, but, keep relighting the papers. I think I had to do it 3 times on the way to the fireplace.

BTW, I came to a dead end and someone had to send me a saved game. I accidentally threw one of the pages that I needed when I started the fire and I guess I needed to use the dog food bag. Make sure you don't make the same mistake! I was just clicking on things from the inventory and putting them on the fireplace.

I allways say the wrong things to the apparatus. No matter what I do and talk to the head master. I finally put the logs in the fireplace and there is enough paper there to. Now all I have to do is get a light from the apparatus. I just can't use the bellows on the apparatus.

You have the gas from the plant in the bellows? It should just go into the fire machine, but, I think other people had this problem too from reading things on the Steam discussion board. Maybe you should post on there and someone can help you. I just got a saved game cuz I accidentally put the wrong paper in the fireplace (a dead end) and now I can't walk anywhere. So, lots of bugs in the game.

I'm really at a dead end,can't light the apparatus. I've done everything there is to do. Must be a bug.

I found The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 folder and the savegame folder. I went in it and it said this folder is empty. There should be a lot of saves there. will keep looking.

I just sent you a saved game with the fire machine lit. You might have to do some things again, but, you know how to do that. Also, if you go through the fireplace from the library, there is a bug and you can't move. You have to enter through the new doorway created by the troll and not the fireplace.

I got the save but I don't know what to do with it. Walk me through please. Thank you for the save.

you will find the saved games: C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\Documents\Bout2\savegames

Thank you will look for it. I found all the saves. Now what do I do with the save you sent me?

I saved the game to my desktop and then I just drug it over to the saved game list. I find that easiest to put on my desktop ....

How do I save it to my desktop.

There are several ways to place the attachment to desktop.
- Open the mail. Then you can click-hold-move it to desktop.
- You can right click the attachment and "save" or "save as" at the location you specify.

Thanks MaG will do. So easy when you know how to do it. Never thought it. I put it on my desktop but when I double click on it I go to my email. the same thing happened when I click in it in my saves I go to my email.
