How's the food supply? If you got a woman carrying a child, put her into the spring pool. Go into detail and check out the health meter. Be sure to heal everyone that is sick. Anyone studying the herbs?

Food 2929. They studied herbs before. No one currently pregnant and and two males just children right now. No one is sick now.

Now my village has gone to the other extreme, too many males. However, the youngest of the two females just gave birth to the first set of twins, I hope that at least one is female. The villagers built a temple. I have no idea what good it will do them. BTW dipping child carrying women into water hasn't seemed to accomplish anything.
I still need to get their medical skills, spirituality and breeding to level 3. Others are topped out. To do it I'll have to put everybody on research.
They do bury their dead now and have learned to fish. They still haven't moved the boulder or done anything with the standing rock or the place with the dead flowers that watering doesn't do anything to.

Are they getting the water from the spring? Would have needed to unblock it first. If so give it time and will have a very nice garden.

Yes they have the spring.
Twins were boys but same female had another baby a girl. That's the good news. Bad news is oldest female, my master scientist died. To add insult to injurty, a monkey raided the technology table.
Adept Builder (I can't seem to get a Master Builder) is carving the rock. I'm hoping this work will raise him to Master (before he dies on me next week).
EDIT: Yes, I have a master builder. Now what can he build?

Medical skills will increase longevity, spirituality will give you the golden child. Have you found the fertility fish? As for the master builder, more like find. shh don't tell anyone but there's buried treasure in the sand near the circle of stones--very hard to find.

They have flower garden now. And another child, also a boy, was found in a box.
There seems to be something else involving flowers, something about insects (bee?) and finding a treasure left to accomplish.

Dang. After I finished VV2, I swore I wasn't going to play it anymore because it takes up so much time. I loved my village but I used to get frustrated by how long everything took. But reading this thread is making me want to try out 3. Maybe I'll try the demo and see if it's worth it...

This game is crazy, my village has a pregnant 70 year old (my oldest person so far). I sent her indoors just to increase my only adult male's breeding experience, trying make a master parent.

I solved all 16 puzzles. SO is that it? No reason to keep the game going?

Yep, there's isn't really anything new to do once you've solved the 16 puzzles. You can just keep the game going though and check back every so often to see what's new if you want. I don't really do that for the original Virtual Villagers, but I've kept my Virtual Villagers 2 game running and I keep checking on it to see if they're still surviving! (Plus that game has a set of collectibles for children to find, I'm still trying to find all of them.) You could also play again with a higher difficulty level if you want (assuming you didn't do Hard right off the bat). Did you enjoy the full game, Guybrush? ------

It was okay. I'm not sure I want to continue the series. I'll probably use my July club membership to buy a hidden object game.

A couple days after deleting the game I find that I miss those silly villagers.
